CAPITAL ENDURO - At Capital Enduro, we're on a mission to put Wellington's incredible trails on the global map by creating a world-class enduro race that showcases just how epic they are. To make it happen, we're partnering with some amazing organizations like the Wellington Mountain Bike Club, Wainuiomata Trail Project, Mākara Peak Mountain Bike Park Supporters, Wellington NZ, Wellington City Council, and Wellington's LBS. NZ FISHING HUNTING & 4X4 POP-UP EXPO AT MEATSTOCK - We're teaming up with Meatstock 2024 to merge the NZ Fishing Hunting and 4X4 Expo with the festival. Imagine this: 16,000 folks who love meat, hot rods, and rock 'n' roll, all in one place! This is your golden ticket to reach a huge audience. NZ FISHING HUNTING & 4X4 EXPO – Our first-ever NZ Fishing Hunting & 4X4 Expo was held in September 2023, and it was awesome, close to 6000 people attended! So we've locked in a new venue in the adventure capital of the North Island, at the Energy Events Centre in Rotorua, for the 23rd-25th August 2024. With over 5,000sqm of indoor exhibition space (plus an outdoor zone too!) there is now space to welcome new brands to our exhibitor family. Interested in joining us? Click here for more information!
CHILD CANCER FOUNDATION BREAKFAST & ART AUCTION – Professionals Rotorua’s annual fundraiser for the Child Cancer Foundation held at the Distinction Hotel. PAST EVENTS.
We’ve had some good times and great experiences! Here are just some of our favourite events from the history books that we’ve been proud to deliver or be a part of.
ONE NZ CYBER SECURITY ROADSHOW – travelling from Kaitaia to Invercargill and stopping at nine regional centres for an evening of knowledge, connections, and a dash of entertainment for the One New Zealand SME Cyber Security events. Special guest speakers included side-splitting comedian Jeremy Elwood and All Black legend Frank Bunce.
SME&E GROWTH – 40 speakers, 4 TEDx style talks, 2 business panels, 16 workshops, and 2 networking events tailored specifically to Kiwi SMEs who were in, or about to be in, a period of growth in their business. SME&E Growth in Wellington was where driven business owners, entrepreneurs, and founders gathered to fuel personal & business growth!
GIANT 2W GRAVITY ENDURO – One of the biggest enduro races in the world! This wasn't just your average mountain bike race; it was a test of skill, fitness, and tactics as riders raced downhill across timed stages to determine the ultimate champion. With each of the three events getting progressively harder throughout the season, riders were pushed to their limits and emerged as top-notch athletes. Many seasons sold out with over 1,800 competitors taking on the challenging course. What’s more, one of our races was even an Enduro World Series Qualifier, adding an international level event to our portfolio.
NZ SME & ENTREPRENEUR FESTIVAL - The ultimate small & medium business and entrepreneur event of the year in NZ! A two-day event saw 26 hyper focused workshops, 7x inspiring keynote speakers, and a dynamic business panel Q&A session. This event was a must for aspiring businesses and entrepreneurs to connect, learn, collaborate, and build new sets of tools to take on the challenges of our changing times.
GIANT TOA ENDURO – The Intrinsic Events team were the Event Manager for the International Tier 3 level Enduro World Series event that was part of Crankworx Rotorua. 350 competitors 130 volunteers and over 30 paid staff. The event was hosted on the shores of the Blue Lake in Rotorua.
HAVANA SOULSTICE - We created a fun high energy tropical summer event in the depths of Winter, in Rotorua, on a boat. Sure, that sounds a little left field… but who doesn’t love a themed party on a boat! The venue, the Lakeland Queen, was a beautiful old paddle boat that could accommodate 330 people and we had that boat rocking. Havana Soulstice SOLD OUT super quickly and the feedback was phenomenal!
ADVENTUREXPO - adventureXpo was developed to provide a platform for the adventure wholesalers and retailers to engage with new adventure enthusiasts. The expo highlighted every element of the adventure experience, with an emphasis on the environment, nutrition, and sustainability.
EMERSON’S WHAKA100 COLAB - Whaka100 proudly holds the reputation of one of the toughest mountain bike marathons in the southern hemisphere. With the option for either the 100, 50, 25 or 10km course in the world famous trails of the Whakarewarewa Forest in Rotorua, NZ. The 2019 Whaka100 hosted 1500 athletes. adventureXpo also collaborated with Whaka100 to develop an expo within the event hub.
MONSTER ENERGY SX OPEN COLAB - adventureXpo is collaborated with the largest and most prestigious International Supercross Championship event ever held in NZ, the Monster Energy SX Open (ME SX), 16 November at Mt Smart Stadium Auckland. The 2018 event had over 22,000 spectators. adventureXpo provided opportunities for brands & businesses to market and/or sell in the designated eXpo area. The Monster Energy SX eXpo space was an opportunity to either sell direct to consumers or raise awareness and generate sales.
PDIGSSS - PDigsss MC set is truly epic, his voice is smooth as silk and pairs perfectly with high energy dance bangers. When PDIGSS is not DJing, he is the frontman for Shapeshifter, without doubt, the best live DNB group NZ has ever produced, they have been selling out festivals across the globe for 15+ years and their recent track Lightspeed is one of their best yet!
